I attended an awesome shopping event over the weekend with one of my best girlfriends at the newest Sephora in Brooklyn. Being invited to shop before opening hours (with 15% off your entire purchase) is definitely one of the perks of being a VIB Rouge member. It was like a convention for local Makeup Hoarders Anonymous! Just kidding, but seriously.. I was surrounded by beautiful women, getting makeup tips and makeovers, their nails and hair did, all while partaking in some delicious coffee and cookies.
The event kicked off Sephora's Spring line, focusing on the color of the year: Radiant Orchid. I am very excited about this color for the upcoming spring/summer season, as you can tell by my obsession with MAC 'Up the Amp' lipstick in my recent posts (see full outfit post of above look). It just pairs so well with white-on-white trend that's also going on. I was also drawn to pastel and navy blues, trying Deborah Lippmann nail polish in 'Blue Orchid' and Stila eyeliner pencil in 'Ultramarine.' What beauty trends are you excited for this season?
