Here are a few iPhone photos from the Simply Stylist Fashion and Beauty conference in NYC this past weekend. This year, I attended the panel and breakout sessions and it was so inspiring to hear these women (and Jay Manuel) speak about their "how-they-got-there" stories in the fashion industry. I encourage anyone interested in fashion, merchandising,  blogging to attend this conference. Catt Sadler from E! News hosted the conference so well and is such a sweetheart. The breakout session 'Blogger 101' by fashion blogger Damsel in Dior was the most beneficial for me as I embark on this new adventure. Definitely scored some new blogging tips from Jacey! Lo Bosworth was the Key Note Speaker and she said something that really resonated with me that could be applied to any difficult and/or new task we come across in our daily lives:

"To start your own business, you must be prepared to jump out of an airplane and make your parachute on the way down."
