A little throwback Thursday for you! These photos were taken back in Brooklyn, but they include some office to cocktail hour staples that I still find myself always reaching for even now that I live in Florida. Since I work as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, I dress in outfits that are easy to switch out my white coat for a smart black blazer in case I have meetings. I am such a dress/skirt girl and pencils skirts are my absolute fav - I look for ones that are slightly high-waisted and hit my knee or just above in length. This patterned one has my name written all over it since it's also leopard print (my forever neutral)! Once that clock hits 5 o'clock, I switch out my black pumps for some ankle strap heels and my structured bag for a clutch.. throw on a leather moto jacket and I'm out the door!

I'm still adjusting. 

Adjusting to life back in Florida and definitely missing fall in Brooklyn (super jealous of everyone bundled up in their coat/sweater weather!). The transition into my new job in St. Augustine has filled my days with new challenges and left me really pumped on how I can help impact the health of this community. My evenings are filled with personal training sessions at the gym (more details on that coming soon) and I am putting the blame on those two things for my lack of blog posts. I was really so happy to have a spare moment with Matt today after work to shoot this outfit! Went a little crazy on a recent Ann Taylor 60% off sale - but how could you not love this dress? No matter if you're living in the bustling streets of NYC or the breezy coasts of Florida, this dress could hang with you anywhere. Buttoned up high with black/gold accessories make this 70's vibe dress perfection.

Happy Friday, everyone! Here's my last post from Florida (def not taken in this 3 degree NYC weather!). My sister and I shot these photos while shopping last Sunday at the Sawgrass Mills outlet mall, my absolute fav mall to go to whenever I visit home. I always have to stop by Neiman Marcus Last Call and we did some major damage there! On the rotation, will soon be the start of a series of "How I Shop" - how to find great deals and how to score investment designer pieces at specific stores and online sites. Happy Monday to you all! Sorry for the week long hiatus, just got back from beautiful and oh so sunny Ft. Lauderdale this past weekend for our engagement party. It was such a blessing to spend the weekend with friends and family we love so much. And to top it off, the beach weather was just unreal. 

This week's post is all about comfy knit basics that I'll definitely be living in for this fall/winter season. Faux leather pants like this pair keep me so warm! Top it off with a slouchy v-neck sweater and scarf and you're good to go ;)
